CV for John Kendall, Director (PDF version)
Following pilot training with the Royal Australian Air Force, John began his valuation career with the Australian Taxation Office in 1970. Upon achieving registration as a valuer in Victoria and Tasmania, he then qualified as a licensed agent and auctioneer. Thereafter, he joined Richard Ellis (later becoming CBRE) at their Melbourne office in 1979, and in 1984, by which time he was a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute, he transferred to their Surfers Paradise office.
In 1994, John became a Director of Richard Ellis, Brisbane, being responsible for its valuation practice throughout Queensland, a position he held for most of his time as a Director over eight years. A later highlight of his career was with Colliers International as a State Director (Consultancy and Valuation). Finally, as a means of gaining further flexibility, accommodating his specialist valuation expertise and more effectively servicing the requirements of his clients, John established his own practice of Kendalls Valuation & Advisory Pty Ltd (Kendalls) in 2011.
Since the 1980’s John has been a registered valuer in Queensland and New South Wales, as well a Specialist Retail Valuer under the Retail Shop Leases Act.
